SCHOOL AROUND THE WORLD

Teaching in different countries gives you different outlooks into education. Each culture places different aspects of education at the forefront based on peoples' beliefs and the way the systems in place there. At times it's frustrating to be confined to a country's system of education, however it teaches me about my own values and what is important to me as a teacher. It also forces you to find creative ways of sticking to your beliefs while acknowledging the customs of a different culture. I love having the opportunity to learn in different contexts and develop my practice through these experiences.
